Your right to opt out
Restoration Rescue is a free referral service that connects homeowners, property managers, and other property owners with independent, third-party restoration contractors. To provide this service, we may share the information you give us — such as your phone number, general location, and the details of your inquiry — with independent restoration contractors, lead-buyers, and partner networks so they can respond to your request. We also work with advertising and analytics partners that may use cookies and similar technologies.
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (as amended by the CPRA) and similar laws in other states, some of this activity may be considered a “sale” or “sharing” of personal information, even when no money is exchanged for the information itself. If you are a resident of a state that provides this right, you may ask us to stop selling or sharing your personal information.
Categories of information involved
The categories of personal information that may be sold or shared include:
- Identifiers and contact information, such as your name (if provided) and phone number
- Inquiry information, such as the details you share about your property and situation
- Internet and device activity, such as IP address, browser and device information, and how you interacted with our Website

How to submit an opt-out request
You can ask us to stop selling or sharing your personal information using either of the methods below. You do not need an account, and there is no cost to submit a request.
- By phone: Call (888) 414-0519 and tell us you want to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.
- By email: Email [email protected] with the subject line “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information.” Please include the phone number you used to contact us (and, if applicable, your name) so we can locate and process your request.
We will process your request as required by applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing your request, and we will only use the information you provide for that purpose.
Global Privacy Control (GPC)
Some browsers and browser extensions let you enable a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal that automatically communicates your choice to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information. Where required by law, we treat a valid GPC signal received from your browser as a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information associated with that browser or device.
Authorized agents
You may use an authorized agent to submit an opt-out request on your behalf. We may require the agent to provide proof that you gave them signed permission to submit the request, and we may ask you to verify your own identity directly with us or confirm that you provided the agent permission to act on your behalf.
Other privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights, such as the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to request access to or deletion of your personal information, and the right to not receive discriminatory treatment for exercising your privacy rights.
